“Hi, my name is Bob Picciano. I live in Medfield, Massachusetts. I wanted to do this video for my friend Nando and Mathias Construction. They’ve done two projects for us over the past three years.
The first project was actually our second floor. We did both of our bathrooms over and hardwood floors. And the second project consisted of the first floor—fully renovating our kitchen, our living room, adding a bar, relocating a bathroom, and also finishing our basement.
The team itself did a great job from start to finish. I think the biggest thing was actually all the prep work that we did up front to ensure as smooth as possible of disrupting my family of four for three or four months as we did the project. However, it did run very smooth.
He worked very well with the town of Medfield in securing all permits for us as well, which was kind of an added bonus because, as you know, many municipalities can be a little bit difficult.
The second component I think was just the fact that he calls us back and texts us back when we have questions. This was our first major renovation in our home, so I think the communication level was great. And also seeing him on site on a regular basis—and daily basis, for that matter—was really what worked.
The third component that I’ll bring up was really the fact that the folks that Nando brings in—from flooring people that we had never worked with before, masons, and tile folks—did a really, really great job with the finish work, and then even to the cleanup and follow-up aspect of it post-project.
So overall it was an amazing experience. Fortunately, we’ve done the entire house, but Nando’s also gonna work for my mom over in Walpole as well. So we have referred him to other folks as well. And I’m happy to do this video. Thank you, Nando.”
